Product Overview

The LumaFit Series LED Panel Retrofit Kit is a recessed conversion platform developed for upgrading existing fluorescent troffer housings without removing the ceiling grid or replacing the fixture frame. The system enables standardized LED performance across 2×2 and 2×4 ceiling openings while reducing installation time in commercial retrofit projects.

Field-selectable wattage allows delivered lumen output to be aligned with ceiling height, spacing criteria, and illumination targets using a single retrofit platform. Selectable CCT supports consistent visual appearance across upgraded areas, while universal 120–277V input and integrated dimming capability allow deployment within existing commercial electrical infrastructure.

Select configurations incorporate an integrated sensor receptacle to support future occupancy or daylight control integration without replacing the retrofit assembly. This configuration structure allows projects to maintain a consistent retrofit solution across standard areas and controls-ready zones while preserving existing ceiling systems.

  • Commercial Lighting Specification & Buying Guides

Commercial lighting systems are specified based on task requirements, mounting conditions, distribution control, and code compliance. Fixture selection must align with layout planning, electrical coordination, and long-term performance expectations across the application.

    Lighting Layout, Spacing, and Performance

Fixture selection alone does not determine lighting performance; layout, spacing, mounting height, and optical distribution control how light reaches the task plane, and improper spacing or distribution can create glare, dark zones, or uneven coverage even when lumen output appears sufficient.
