The DarkShield Series LED Full Cutoff Wall Pack is engineered for exterior installations where light distribution control is required rather than forward projection. The full cutoff housing directs illumination below the horizontal plane, eliminating uplight and reducing high-angle glare commonly associated with traditional wall-mounted fixtures. This optical approach supports installations located near property lines, pedestrian areas, and regulated commercial zones where light trespass must be minimized.
Unlike forward-throw wall packs designed for maximum outward reach, full cutoff luminaires concentrate usable light onto walking surfaces, building perimeters, service entrances, and controlled circulation zones. By directing output downward only, the fixture improves visual comfort while maintaining required illumination levels for exterior safety and code-aligned site lighting. Full cutoff designs are widely specified where municipal or Dark Sky requirements restrict upward light emission and glare exposure.
Selectable wattage allows output to be matched to mounting height and façade spacing without changing fixture form factor, while selectable correlated color temperature supports visual consistency across exterior lighting systems.
