ABOUT WRAP FIXTURES

LED wrap fixtures are linear lights with a diffused lens that wraps around the fixture. They are designed to deliver cost-effective, energy-efficient lighting in surface-mount ceiling applications such as stairwells, storage rooms, parking structures, and other utility applications.

LED wraparound fixtures come in three different size options: 2-foot, 4-foot and 8-foot lengths. These wraparound lights come in a variety of color temperatures and lumen outputs. If you're searching for a light output that is warm and welcoming, LED wrap lights with a 3000 Kelvin or less would be the most appropriate. Applications such as work areas where alertness and productivity are very important, higher Kelvin temperatures like 4000K and 5000K are the best solution. Many LED wraparound light fixtures can even be dimmed with compatible dimmers, creating extra energy savings.

The great thing about LED surface wrap fixtures is that they are suitable for almost any area in residential or commercial applications. These fixtures are UL listed and meet the latest building and safety standard for installation in garages, high-occupancy domiciles, stairwells and other commercial utility applications.

WRAP FIXTURES FAQS

Wrap fixtures are linear lights that have a one-piece lens that wraps the fixture, which helps to diffuse the light output. They provide light from the sides and bottom of the fixture for all around illumination.

Wrap fixtures come in two basic styles, narrow base and wide base, and come in 2-foot, 4-foot and 8-foot lengths. The narrow base style are designed with a tapering profile, making it ideal for use in areas such as corridors and stairwells. The wide base style are designed with a semi-recessed profile, making them more suitable for large indoor spaces like offices. Both styles of wrap fixtures are designed to accept LED tubes, or are already integrated with LED arrays.

Surface mounted wrap fixtures can be used in a variety of locations throughout a home or business. Typically, most wrap fixtures are designed for indoor use only, so they should not be used in areas where water or moisture could be present. Some applications of where these fixtures are commonly used include offices, hallways, laundry rooms and basements.

There are many benefits you'll get with wrap fixtures. Unlike comparable fluorescent options, they come on instantly when power up and do not flicker. Also, LED does not generate as much heat as fluorescents and the light output does not degrade over time. They are significantly more efficient and have a much longer useful life.
