As lighting technology constantly improves, so do the well-recognized manufacturers. Today, we will be looking at the evolution of Keystone Technologies. In 1945, Keystone Technologies was founded by Marvin Spielman and Harold Fox, two brothers-in-law who were two growing entrepreneurs returning home to Philadelphia after serving their country in World War II. During that period, fluorescent lights were starting to gain popularity because they were brighter and more energy efficient than incandescent. With Philadelphia being home to some of the industry's largest fixture manufacturers, Keystone became the go-to supplier for their ballast and transformer needs because of their quality products and great customer service.
Unlike other companies that were comfortable in their element, Keystone continued to grow while constantly looking at the future of the lighting industry. They were focused on making lighting more energy efficient. In 2005, Keystone sent their final shipment of their T12 magnetic ballast and immediately turned their focus to LED. In 2007, they began manufacturing their own LED drivers. In the past 12 years, they have gained tremendous respect for their knowledge and development in the LED market, so much that many companies have chosen to use Keystone LED tubes during lighting upgrades.
In addition to all of the previously mentioned accolades, one of the most impressive is Keystone Technologies FutureFit system. The innovative FutureFit is an ideal solution developed by Keystone to convert traditional fixtures into energy efficient LED. Aside from FutureFit being incredibly simple, there are multiple styles available to meet virtually any lighting need such as linear, rectangular, circular, and sconce. Included in each FutureFit Kit are all the components needed to upgrade your existing fluorescent fixtures quickly with ease. Each kit contains Keystone drivers, LED modules, and all necessary mounting hardware. The upgrade is so easy, its like zip screwing in the FutureFit LED kits. Some people are very skeptical about just retrofitting. However, FutureFit is the only way to go!
The innovational FutureFit Kit from Keystone Technologies gives you the best of both worlds by generating significant savings while providing over 90,000 hours of light life.
